1. Introduction

This Acceptable Use Policy explains what you can and cannot do when using PartPlanner.

PartPlanner is provided by Pattform Ltd and may be described publicly as “PartPlanner by Pattform Ltd”.

In this policy, “PartPlanner”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Pattform Ltd, trading through the PartPlanner product or brand. “You” and “your” mean the customer, account holder, team owner, business, organisation, or person using PartPlanner.

This policy forms part of our Terms of Service.

By using PartPlanner, you agree to follow this policy.

2. Purpose of This Policy

PartPlanner is designed to help teams manage computer parts inventory, PC builds, resale workflows, and related business/team operations.

This policy helps protect:

  • PartPlanner;
  • Pattform Ltd;
  • Our users and customers;
  • Our systems and service providers;
  • Other teams using the platform;
  • The reliability, security, and integrity of the service.

3. Lawful Use

You must use PartPlanner only for lawful purposes.

You must not use PartPlanner to:

  • Break any applicable law or regulation;
  • Support illegal activity;
  • Commit fraud;
  • Mislead customers, suppliers, buyers, sellers, or service providers;
  • Store, process, or distribute unlawful material;
  • Infringe another person’s rights;
  • Avoid legal, tax, accounting, customs, import, export, consumer, marketplace, or platform obligations.

You are responsible for making sure your own business activities, sales, listings, records, and use of PartPlanner comply with the laws and obligations that apply to you.

4. Business and Team Responsibility

PartPlanner is intended primarily for business and team use.

You are responsible for:

  • The data you enter into PartPlanner;
  • The accuracy of your inventory, build, cost, and resale information;
  • Your team members’ use of PartPlanner;
  • Managing team permissions carefully;
  • Removing users who should no longer have access;
  • Keeping your own required business, tax, accounting, customer, warranty, and sales records;
  • Complying with any marketplace, supplier, reseller, or platform terms that apply to your business.

PartPlanner does not replace your own judgement, recordkeeping, compliance processes, or professional advice.

5. Prohibited Content

You must not upload, enter, store, share, or process content through PartPlanner that is:

  • Illegal;
  • Fraudulent;
  • Misleading;
  • Defamatory;
  • Harassing or abusive;
  • Threatening;
  • Discriminatory;
  • Sexually exploitative;
  • Invasive of privacy;
  • Malicious or harmful;
  • Infringing of intellectual property rights;
  • Designed to deceive, impersonate, or misrepresent;
  • Otherwise harmful to PartPlanner, Pattform Ltd, other users, or third parties.

6. Prohibited Products, Listings, and Activities

PartPlanner is intended for computer parts, PC builds, and related inventory/resale workflows.

You must not use PartPlanner to support, manage, promote, or organise illegal or restricted goods, services, or activities.

This includes, where applicable:

  • Stolen goods;
  • Counterfeit goods;
  • Fraudulent or misrepresented products;
  • Products you do not have the right to sell;
  • Products that violate marketplace, supplier, reseller, or platform rules;
  • Illegal imports or exports;
  • Goods or services that require licences you do not hold;
  • Activity designed to avoid consumer, tax, customs, platform, or payment obligations;
  • Any activity that creates legal, security, reputational, or operational risk for Pattform Ltd or PartPlanner.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe PartPlanner is being used to support unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or high-risk activity.

7. No Fraud or Misrepresentation

You must not use PartPlanner to:

  • Create false or misleading records;
  • Misrepresent stock levels, costs, sales, prices, profits, customers, suppliers, or product condition;
  • Support scams or deceptive sales practices;
  • Hide or manipulate business records;
  • Evade tax, customs, marketplace, consumer, or payment obligations;
  • Provide false billing, identity, business, or account information;
  • Abuse refunds, chargebacks, promotions, discounts, or lifetime deals.

8. Security Rules

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to PartPlanner, our systems, other accounts, other teams, or other users’ data;
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without written permission;
  • Bypass or attempt to bypass authentication, authorisation, billing, entitlement, rate limit, security, or access controls;
  • Share accounts between multiple people;
  • Use another person’s account without permission;
  • Interfere with login, authentication, billing, or entitlement systems;
  • Upload malware, malicious scripts, harmful files, or hostile code;
  • Attempt to extract secrets, tokens, keys, credentials, or system information;
  • Use PartPlanner to attack, disrupt, or compromise another system.

If you discover a security issue, contact us at support@partplanner.io and do not exploit, disclose, or misuse the issue.

9. System Abuse and Excessive Use

You must not use PartPlanner in a way that harms, overloads, disrupts, or degrades the service.

You must not:

  • Send excessive automated requests;
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission;
  • Use bots, scripts, or automation that overloads or abuses the service;
  • Interfere with performance, uptime, or availability;
  • Circumvent rate limits or usage limits;
  • Create excessive teams, accounts, invites, records, exports, or API requests;
  • Use PartPlanner as a general-purpose data warehouse, file storage system, backup system, or unrelated automation platform;
  • Use the service in a way that creates unreasonable infrastructure, support, or operational load.

We may apply fair use limits, rate limits, technical limits, manual review, temporary restrictions, or suspension where needed to protect the service.

10. API and Integration Use

If PartPlanner provides APIs, exports, imports, integrations, webhooks, or developer features, you must use them responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use APIs or integrations to bypass paid entitlements;
  • Resell API access without permission;
  • Use integrations to copy, clone, or compete with PartPlanner;
  • Send excessive or abusive API traffic;
  • Ignore rate limits, documentation, or integration rules;
  • Use exports or integrations to extract another team’s data;
  • Use technical workarounds to access features you have not paid for.

We may change, limit, suspend, or disable API or integration access where needed for security, reliability, commercial, or operational reasons.

11. Payment, Billing, and Entitlement Abuse

PartPlanner is a paid product.

You must not:

  • Attempt to use paid features without a valid entitlement;
  • Circumvent subscription, billing, or lifetime licence restrictions;
  • Share a paid team or account in a way that avoids normal pricing;
  • Create fake accounts to obtain unauthorised access;
  • Abuse beta access, admin grants, discounts, promotions, or lifetime deals;
  • Use stolen, unauthorised, or invalid payment methods;
  • Abuse chargebacks or payment disputes;
  • Provide false billing information.

We may suspend or terminate access where payment, billing, entitlement, refund, or chargeback abuse is suspected.

12. Team Invites and Account Access

You are responsible for who you invite to your team.

You must not:

  • Invite people who are not authorised to access the team;
  • Use invites to spam or harass people;
  • Sell, transfer, or misuse team invites;
  • Keep former staff, contractors, partners, or collaborators in a team when they should no longer have access;
  • Use another person’s identity or email address without permission.

Team owners and admins are responsible for managing members, roles, and access.

13. Personal Information and Sensitive Information

You must not use PartPlanner to collect, store, or process personal information unless you have the right to do so.

You must not upload highly sensitive personal information unless we have expressly agreed to that use in writing.

This includes information such as:

  • Health information;
  • Government identification documents;
  • Bank account details;
  • Full payment card details;
  • Passwords or login credentials;
  • Children’s information;
  • Sensitive personal, legal, employment, or financial records unrelated to PartPlanner’s intended use.

PartPlanner is not designed to store highly sensitive personal information.

14. Intellectual Property

You must respect intellectual property rights.

You must not use PartPlanner to:

  • Store or share content you do not have the right to use;
  • Infringe copyright, trade marks, designs, patents, or other rights;
  • Misuse another company’s branding, product images, descriptions, or listings;
  • Copy or reproduce protected product information without permission;
  • Reverse engineer, copy, clone, or create a competing service from PartPlanner.

You remain responsible for the legality of any content, images, descriptions, documents, or data you upload or enter.

15. No Resale or Competing Use

Unless we give written permission, you must not:

  • Resell PartPlanner;
  • Rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially provide access to PartPlanner;
  • Use PartPlanner to build, train, or support a competing product;
  • Copy PartPlanner’s workflows, interface, architecture, or product design;
  • Offer PartPlanner as part of a managed service or software bundle;
  • Use PartPlanner for benchmarking or competitive analysis intended to harm Pattform Ltd or PartPlanner.

16. Email, Messaging, and Communications Abuse

If PartPlanner provides email, invite, notification, or communication features, you must not use them to:

  • Send spam;
  • Send unsolicited marketing;
  • Harass or threaten people;
  • Impersonate another person or business;
  • Send misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent messages;
  • Send malware, phishing attempts, or harmful links;
  • Violate email, privacy, anti-spam, or marketing laws.

We may limit, disable, or review communication features if abuse is suspected.

17. Data Export and Portability

PartPlanner supports inventory exporting.

A full data export must be requested manually by contacting support@partplanner.io.

You must not misuse export functionality to:

  • Access data you are not authorised to access;
  • Extract another team’s data;
  • Evade billing or entitlement controls;
  • Overload the service;
  • Violate another person’s privacy or rights;
  • Transfer unlawful, infringing, or restricted data.

We may require proof that you are the team owner or an authorised admin before processing a full team data export.

18. Fair Use

Some PartPlanner plans, including lifetime deals, may be subject to fair use.

Fair use means your use must be reasonable for the plan, product purpose, team size, technical design, and commercial model.

Use may be considered unfair or excessive if it creates unreasonable:

  • Infrastructure cost;
  • Storage use;
  • API traffic;
  • Support load;
  • Security risk;
  • Operational burden;
  • Commercial imbalance;
  • Impact on other users.

If we consider your use excessive, we may contact you, apply limits, require a plan change, restrict features, suspend access, or take other reasonable steps.

19. Monitoring and Enforcement

We may monitor use of PartPlanner to protect security, reliability, legal compliance, billing integrity, and service quality.

We may investigate suspected breaches of this policy.

If we believe this policy has been breached, we may take action, including:

  • Warning you;
  • Asking you to remove or correct content;
  • Applying rate limits;
  • Restricting features;
  • Suspending a user;
  • Suspending a team;
  • Removing an entitlement;
  • Disabling integrations or exports;
  • Refusing support for abusive use;
  • Terminating access;
  • Reporting unlawful activity where appropriate;
  • Taking legal action where necessary.

We may act immediately and without prior notice where we believe there is a security, legal, operational, payment, fraud, or safety risk.

20. Reporting Abuse

If you believe someone is misusing PartPlanner, contact us at:

Please include:

  • A description of the issue;
  • The team, user, or account involved, if known;
  • Relevant screenshots or examples;
  • Why you believe the activity breaches this policy.

We may not be able to share details of our investigation or enforcement actions.

21. Relationship With Other Policies

This Acceptable Use Policy should be read together with our:

  • Terms of Service;
  • Privacy Policy;
  • Refund & Cancellation Policy;
  • Support Policy;
  • Any lifetime deal terms or plan-specific terms.

If this policy conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will apply to the extent of the conflict, unless stated otherwise.

22. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time.

If we make material changes, we may notify you by email, in-app notice, website notice, or another reasonable method.

The updated policy will apply from the effective date shown.

If you continue using PartPlanner after the updated policy takes effect, you accept the updated policy.
